EPISODE 43: COWBOY COOKING
BACKYARD SAUNA
MATERIALS NEEDED
Large sized smooth round rocks
6 long poles (the more "tree-like" the better)
1 large tarpaulin
Rope
Shovel for digging two pits in the ground
Bucket for water
Method:
First, dig two holes, quite a distance away from one another.
Build a fire in one. Once the fire is roaring, throw the rocks into it and let the fire go out.
Next, they build a teepee around the other pit with the poles, the rope, and the tarp. Let the poles support one another and then reinforce them with rope. Tie the tarp around the poles.
Finally, using shovels very carefully take a couple of the rocks, which have been sitting in the fire for at least a couple of hours, and drop them into the pit under the tarp. Drop water on them and watch the steam rise. Pull the tarp closed and enjoy!
